Shipping & Delivery Policy

Thank you for shopping with Play8. This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how orders are processed, shipped, and delivered for both product sales and rental services.
This policy applies to all orders placed through the Play8 online store and is designed to comply with EU and Swedish consumer protection laws.
1. Order Processing Time

Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.

5. Shipping Fees

6. Customs, Duties & Taxes

Shipments within the EU/EEA generally do not incur customs duties.

Play8 is not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance.
7. Tracking Information
Once shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking details (where available).
Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking information to become active.
8. Incorrect Address & Failed Delivery
Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information.
Play8 is not responsible for:

Delivery delays caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses

Shipments returned due to failed delivery attempts
Reshipment may incur additional shipping fees.
9. Damaged or Lost Shipments

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us immediately and provide photos of the damage and packaging.

If your shipment is lost in transit, notify us as soon as possible so we can initiate an investigation with the carrier.
Claims must be reported within a reasonable timeframe after the expected delivery date.
10. Delays & Force Majeure
Play8 shall not be liable for delivery delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

11. Large Equipment – Sales & Rentals Shipping
Certain Play8 products, including but not limited to ball machines, sports robots, large equipment, and rental units, require special handling and customized logistics arrangements.
The following terms apply to both sales and rental orders, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
11.1 Delivery Methods for Large Equipment

Large equipment may be shipped via freight, pallet delivery, or specialized carriers rather than standard parcel services.

Delivery method, estimated delivery time, and applicable fees will be communicated at checkout or in a separate delivery confirmation.

Additional services (e.g. residential delivery, liftgate service, special handling) may incur extra charges.
11.2 Curbside Delivery & Access Responsibility

Large equipment deliveries are normally curbside delivery only, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Customers are responsible for ensuring:

Clear and accessible delivery conditions

Availability at the delivery location at the scheduled time

Failed delivery attempts due to access issues or customer unavailability may result in additional fees.
11.3 Inspection & Damage Reporting

Large equipment must be inspected immediately upon delivery.

Any visible damage must be:

Noted on the delivery receipt, and
-
Reported to Play8 within 48 hours, with photos or videos.

Failure to report damage within this timeframe may affect eligibility for replacement or compensation.
11.4 Sales Orders – Risk & Ownership Transfer

For purchased equipment, risk of loss transfers to the customer upon successful delivery, except where otherwise required by mandatory EU or Swedish consumer law.

Ownership transfers once full payment has been received and the product has been delivered.
11.5 Rental Orders – Delivery, Return & Responsibility

Rental equipment delivery and return terms are specified in the applicable rental agreement or booking confirmation.

During the rental period, the customer is responsible for:

Proper use according to instructions

Safe storage and protection against loss, theft, or damage

Equipment must be returned on time and in the same condition as received (normal wear and tear excepted).
Late returns, missing accessories, or damage beyond normal wear and tear may result in additional charges.
11.6 Return Shipping for Large Equipment

Returns of large equipment require prior approval and special logistics arrangements.

Unless the return is due to a defect, damage, or Play8 error, customers are responsible for all return shipping and handling costs.

Return shipping costs for large equipment may be significantly higher than standard parcel shipments.
11.7 Liability Limitation

Play8 is not responsible for damage caused by improper handling, storage, or use after delivery.

Nothing in this section limits statutory consumer rights under applicable EU or Swedish law.
