Return & Refund Policy

Thank you for shopping with Play8. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not satisfied, you may be eligible for a return, refund, or exchange under the conditions outlined below.

This policy applies to all purchases made through the Play8 online store and follows the same return and refund standards as our product headquarters, while also complying with EU and Swedish consumer protection laws.


1. Return Eligibility (Standard Policy)

  • You may request a return within 30 days of receiving your order.

  • Items must be unused, in brand-new condition, and returned in their original packaging, including all accessories, manuals, and labels.

  • Products showing signs of use, damage caused by misuse, or incomplete packaging may not be eligible for a refund.


2. EU & EEA Consumer Right of Withdrawal (14-Day Cooling-Off Period)

If you are a consumer residing in the European Union (EU) or European Economic Area (EEA), you have the legal right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without providing any reason, in accordance with EU consumer protection regulations.

Conditions of the Right of Withdrawal:

  • The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day you receive the goods.

  • To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify Play8 of your decision in writing (e.g. by email).

  • Returned items must be unused, in their original condition and packaging, and suitable for resale.

Refund Under EU Law:

  • If you withdraw within the 14-day cooling-off period, we will refund:

    • The product price

    • Standard outbound shipping costs (if applicable)

     

  • The refund will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or proof of return, whichever occurs first.

  • Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original transaction.

Please note: You are responsible for the return shipping costs unless the product is defective, damaged, or incorrectly delivered.

 


3. Non-Returnable Items

Unless faulty or damaged upon arrival, the following items are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Used or altered products

  • Items returned without original packaging or accessories

  • Products returned without an approved Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA)


4. How to Request a Return

  1. Contact Customer Support

    Email us at support@play8.ai with your order number and reason for return or withdrawal.

  2. Receive Return Authorization (RMA)

    Once approved, we will provide a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and return instructions.

  3. Ship the Item Back

    Please clearly mark the RMA number on the outside of the return package and ensure the item is securely packed.

We recommend using a tracked shipping service. Play8 is not responsible for lost or delayed return shipments.

 


5. Return Shipping Costs

 

  • Defective, damaged, or incorrect items:

    Play8 will cover the return shipping costs.

  • All other return reasons (including change of mind):

    The customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

Original shipping fees are non-refundable, except where required by EU law.


6. Refund Processing

  • Once the returned item is received and inspected, we will notify you by email of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Approved refunds are processed within 10–15 business days.

  • Funds will be credited to your original payment method within 7 business days after processing.

Please note that processing times may vary depending on your payment provider or bank.

 


7. Exchanges

Exchanges are subject to product availability.

 

  • Exchanges due to defects or shipping errors are handled at no additional cost.

  • Exchanges for other reasons may require the customer to cover additional shipping costs.


8. Damaged or Incorrect Items

 

If you receive a product that is damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible and include photos or videos showing the issue. We will arrange a replacement or refund once the issue has been verified.
