Play8 is a Swedish sports technology company making solo training smarter and more accessible — across tennis, padel, and table tennis.

We combine AI coaching with professional ball machine access into a single platform. Players tell our AI Coach what they want to work on, receive a structured training session with machine settings for each drill, and train with purpose — no partner needed, no guesswork.

What We Do

Play8 operates across three connected business lines:

AI Coach

Our AI assesses a player's level and goals, then generates a structured session broken into drill cards. Each card includes a clear focus, duration, and recommended ball machine settings the player can follow on court. It's not generic advice — it's a ready-to-execute training plan.

Venue rentals

We partner with tennis clubs, padel centers, and table tennis halls to place professional-grade ball machines on site. Players book a machine through the Play8 platform, show up, and train. In select cities, we also offer pickup rentals — players grab a machine from a collection point and bring it to any court they choose.

Equipment sales

Players, coaches, and venues who want to own their own machine can purchase directly through our equipment store at store.play8.ai.

The three work together: the AI builds the plan, the machine executes it, and the platform connects everything.

Why this matters

Most racket sports players train without a plan. They show up, hit random balls, and leave without knowing if they improved. The ones who want structured practice either can't afford regular coaching or can't find a partner who matches their schedule.

Ball machines solve half of that problem — they show up on time and never get tired. But a machine without a plan is just balls flying at you. And a plan without a machine is just words on a screen.

How we work with venues

Play8 partners with tennis clubs, padel centers, and table tennis halls to bring AI-powered ball machine training to their players. We provide the equipment, the technology platform, and the AI coaching layer. Partner venues benefit from increased utilization, new foot traffic from solo players, and a share of every rental booking — with zero equipment investment.

We're currently launching our first venue partnerships in the Stockholm region, with plans to expand across Sweden and Europe.
